What is God?

How did the earth become what it is today? Who created the shy, moon, sun and the stars? Who created the trees, birds and the bees? Most importantly, who created the human being? Over the years, human beings have evolved to become the most intelligent being on the face of the earth. We have created all kind of ways to communicate with each other in a matter of years. We have come so far from where we started from. The real question that remains is where did we start from? Scientist tries to figure it out by using all kinds of scientific notation, information and objects, but there is something that just can’t be explained. To define our existence, most people believe in God. God is defined as a Supreme Being. A Supreme Being is a being that is all powerful, all knowing, and all good. God by definition is the creature of the Universe. I am a stronger believer in God myself but there sometime questions that I need answered. When choosing the topic for this paper, I realized that God could mean a lot of things too many people in different cultures and nothing in others. As I mention early, God is suppose to be all power, all knowing and all good (PKG).  My argument is if God suppose to be all good, the one who love the world that he gave his only begotten son, why do he allows bad things to happen.  Why god does allow apparently pointless suffering for some reason that we can't comprehend?
Mr. PKG, the creature of the universe suppose to have the ability to know what’s going to happen before it happen and have to book of  our life. Before we do an evil or bad crime, god supposes to already know.  If god already that a guy is going to rap a poor little old lady why would he allow it to happen. Why does he allow poverty?  I don’t understand why if your PKG you would allow natural destroy to happen. Based upon William Rowe in the Problems of evil he said “Other versions of the evidential argument concede that God could have a morally sufficient reason for allowing certain evils to occur to ensure that some greater good is achieved as a consequence of an evil. However, proponents add, God would only allow as much evil or suffering as is absolutely necessary in order to achieve greater goods. But when we look at the world around us, we find prevalent instances of apparently gratuitous evil—pointless evils from which no greater good seems to result.” This really helped me into coming to my conclusion that maybe God is testing us.
By putting people to the test is what make God powerful. God has the ability to keep people questioning his existence which I find very creative. God have the power to put people in situation where you don’t really understand what happened, what going to happen and why did that even happen. Some people believe that they have good luck, bad luck or no luck at all. This is where God lay. How you ever been I a situation where the math doesn’t add up. In that case most people believe the power of God changes the math so people can believe in his existence.
Sometime I believe there is a reason for evil doings. Have you heard the saying where there is a good there is a bad. Maybe evils can lead to greater goods, for example someone just lost their job but later they got a higher paying position at another jobs. Could that be the reason why god allow evil thing to happen. Most people call that faith. According to Wikipedia, Faith is trust, hope and belief in the goodness, trustworthiness or reliability of a person, concept or entity. Religious faith is a belief in a transcendent reality, a religious teacher, and a set of teachings or a Supreme Being. With faith in God most people think anything is possible.

In the text here is the argument from evil for the nonexistence of God.  However, is almost like a puzzle. If God exists, then God is omnipotent, omniscient, and morally perfect. In the journal of Stanford encyclopedia philosophy it shows the following.
  1. If God is omnipotent, then God has the power to eliminate all evil.
  2. If God is omniscient, then God knows when evil exists.
  3. If God is morally perfect, then God has the desire to eliminate all evil.
  4. Evil exists.
  5. If evil exists and God exists, then either God doesn't have the power to eliminate all evil, or doesn't know when evil exists, or doesn't have the desire to eliminate all evil.
  6. Therefore, God doesn't exist
I have to disagree. I do believe there is a god but for some reason he is allowing evil things to happen. How can we love and worship God when he allows us to suffer in these ways?  That’s where faith takes it place. This is when I came up with the following.
God gave the human being the ability of free will. Maybe we took advantage of what god has given us and decided to take matters in our own hands which will have made us the creatures of evil right? To have the ability to do as you will you tend to forget where you came from?  On the other hand, maybe good gave us free will to make us his suspire.
1.       God is PKG
2.      God can destroy evil
3.      Human are free willed
4.      Evil is not destroyed
God is not going to destroy evil thing from happening. It is up to us to do good things to keep evil things from happening to us. God is putting human being to the test to see what we are going to do with the free will that we have. We are using god for all the things that we are doing wrong. These issues are very serious and important to our nature.  Only not as we try to defend our belief in God, but also as we live out our lives.
According to definition, God suppose to know all. Most people my say if god knows it all then what it the purpose of going there the motion of life on earth. Speaking from my understanding, if you want an honestly made bed you have to make it yourself. This mean in order to have something good you have to work for. God is not giving any handouts. So life itself is the process that God plans for us to work our way through life.
Is God good? Yes good is good. The goodness of God comes from life itself. The gift of life is what makes God good. On the other hand, if life is God’s gift than what is death? Most commonly people look at death as a bad thing. So if death is bad and God is PKG then God is not good. That happens to be wrong. God is all good. The decision that people make according to the free will that people make causes death. Life is all about the decision people make day to day which is on the people.
Here are words from David Hume I am strongly beside him as follows “The key to the resolution of this apparent conflict is to recognize that when we say God is all powerful, we do not imply that He is capable of doing anything imaginable.” True, Scripture states that "with God all things are possible" (Mt. 19:26). But Scripture also states that there are some things God cannot do. For instance, God cannot lie (Tit. 1:2). Neither can He be tempted to sin, nor can He tempt others to sin (James 1:13). In other words, He cannot do anything that is "out of character" for a righteous God. Neither can He do anything that is out of character for a rational being in a rational world. Certainly even God cannot "undo the past," or create a square triangle, or make what is false true. In conclusion God is a part of people everyday lives, weather you recognize it or not. He cannot do what is irrational or absurd. He is PKG and is all good. The last thing to think about is what you believe in. You have the will to do as you please.
